Ingredients
  

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 250 gm cooked ground beef or chicken for variation
  • 200 gm cooked rice
  • 150 gm canned black beans drained
  • 100 gm shredded cheddar cheese
  • 100 gm salsa mild or spicy as preferred
  • 50 gm sour cream
  • 1 medium tomato chopped
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Toppings

  • 50 gm guacamole
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Lime wedges

Instructions
 

  • Heat the fillings: In a skillet, warm the cooked ground beef, adding cumin and chili powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Prepare the beans and rice: Warm the black beans and rice in separate bowls or on the stovetop.
  • Layer the fillings: On each tortilla, layer rice, beans, cooked meat, cheese, and salsa. Add sour cream, tomatoes, and onions on top.
  • Roll the burrito: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll it tightly from one end to the other.
  • Toast (optional): For a crispy finish, place the burrito seam-side down in a hot skillet and toast for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Serve: Cut in half if desired, and serve with optional toppings like guacamole, cilantro, and lime.
