Christmas Green Bean Almondine Recipe

- 1 lb Fresh Green Beans
- ½ Cup Sliced Almonds
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- ½ Tsp Salt
- ¼ Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Clove Garlic minced

- Trim the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced almonds to the skillet and toast them lightly for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
