Christmas Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 Large White Mushrooms
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Clove Garlic Minced
- ½ Cup Breadcrumbs
- ¼ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley
- 2 tbsp Cream Cheese Optional

- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Set the caps aside and chop the stems finely.
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and chopped mushroom stems. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and parsley. If using cream cheese, mix it in now.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the prepared mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
- Add optional toppings like mozzarella or red pepper flakes during the last 5 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
