Ingredients
  

  • 12 Large White Mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Clove Garlic Minced
  • ½ Cup Breadcrumbs
  • ¼ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 2 tbsp Cream Cheese Optional

Optional Toppings

  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Set the caps aside and chop the stems finely.
  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and chopped mushroom stems. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and parsley. If using cream cheese, mix it in now.
  • Stuff the mushroom caps with the prepared mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
  • Add optional toppings like mozzarella or red pepper flakes during the last 5 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
