Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings
  • fresh fruits
  • whipped cream
  • maple syrup
  • chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it with a drizzle of oil or a dash of non-stick spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth and well-combined.
  • Pour a ladle of batter onto the preheated waffle iron. Close the lid and cook until the waffle is golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

  • For extra fluffy waffles, separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks, then fold them into the batter just before cooking.
