Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 432 gm chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box 102 gm instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup 240 ml sour cream
  • ½ cup 120 ml vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup 120 ml water
  • 1 cup 180 gm mini chocolate chips

Optional Toppings:

  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Fresh berries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, and vegetable oil.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Gradually add the water and mix until the batter is smooth.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Frost and decorate as desired.
